The Memory Box was conceptualised and created for DITA Audio’s Perpetua earphones. Conceived as a 10 year anniversary product that highlights the brand’s history and legacy while pointing towards a future built on cherished musical memories.
Within the box are visual and textural cues that are meant to be reminiscent of a box of keepsakes, letters and ticket stubs. These feature a vibrant and varied material palette of metals, paper, and leather.
Held in place by custom-designed paper clips: manuals and product guides that have been fashioned into the likeness of ticket stubs, commemorative cards and decals to increase user interaction and interest.
An EVA base holds all items neatly together— presenting the user with a visually memorable unboxing experience.
This EVA base is also entirely removable to increase the amount of space in the packaging box, increasing its utility and improving its chances of being upcycled and re-used.
